Cookies, local storage, pixels and similar technologies

This Policy explains which technologies are used on adsquiz.io, app.adsquiz.io and connected AdsQuiz pages, why they are used and how a user can change their choice. It supplements the Privacy Policy.
1 Who uses these technologies
The party responsible for AdsQuiz's own cookies and technologies is Aiquiz OÜ, Kaupmehe tn 7-120, Kesklinna linnaosa, Tallinn, Harju maakond, 10114, Estonia, registry code 17473872, email info@adsquiz.io. If an AdsQuiz customer adds its own services or pixels to a published quiz, that customer is responsible for their lawful use and respondent information.
2 What cookies and similar technologies are
A cookie is a small file stored by a browser. Local storage, SDKs, tags and pixels may perform similar functions, such as authentication, security, saving preferences, measurement and advertising attribution.
3 Categories
3.1 Essential
These technologies support sign in, security, load balancing, consent storage and expressly requested features. Where they are strictly necessary, they operate without consent to the extent permitted by law.
3.2 Functional
These technologies remember language, interface preferences or support context. If a function is not strictly necessary, it is enabled only after any required consent.
3.3 Analytics
Analytics help us understand how the website and Service are used. Google Analytics is blocked before consent where consent is required.
3.4 Advertising and affiliate
Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel and non essential affiliate technologies support attribution, campaign measurement, remarketing or referral rewards. They are enabled only after any required consent.

Names and durations may change because of browser behaviour, provider updates and configuration. The consent banner shows the current available choices where technically supported.
5 Consent and withdrawal
Google Analytics, Meta Pixel and TikTok Pixel are blocked by the consent management mechanism until consent is given where required. Rejecting must be as accessible as accepting. A choice can be changed at any time through Cookie Settings. Withdrawal applies for the future and does not affect previous lawful processing.
6 Legal bases for further processing
Where a technology processes personal data, further processing relies on consent, contract, legal obligation or legitimate interests as described in the Privacy Policy. Consent for access to a device and the data protection legal basis are assessed separately where applicable.
7 Browser controls
Browsers allow cookies to be viewed, blocked and deleted. Blocking all essential cookies may prevent sign in, security or other Service functions. Cookies already stored may also need to be deleted in the browser after consent is withdrawn.
8 Customer quiz technologies
Customers may add their own Google, Meta, TikTok or other integrations to a quiz. The customer is responsible for the legal basis, notice, consent mechanism, recipients and settings. Aiquiz OÜ supplies technical settings but does not determine the customer's marketing purpose.
9 Changes and contact
This Policy may be updated when technologies or law change. The current version is published with an effective date. Questions may be sent to info@adsquiz.io.
