Connecting a custom domain in AdsQuiz

Connecting your own domain in AdsQuiz lets you host your quiz at a personal website address. This builds user trust, strengthens your brand and makes the URL look more professional.

Once set up, the quiz will be available on your own domain instead of the standard AdsQuiz link.

⚙️ How to connect a custom domain in AdsQuiz

Step 1. Open the domain settings

Go to: Settings → Advanced settings → Domain.

Step 2. Set up DNS at your hosting provider

Create an A record with these parameters:

IP address: 185.25.117.21

Step 3. Enter the domain in AdsQuiz

Enter your domain in the field in the AdsQuiz settings and save the changes.

⚠️ Important The address in your hosting account and the domain you enter in AdsQuiz must match exactly.

After you save the settings, the DNS changes are applied and an SSL certificate is issued.

This usually takes up to 3 hours.

Once it's done, the quiz will be available on your own domain.

❓ Frequently asked questions

Why isn't the domain working yet after setup? DNS changes can take up to 3 hours to apply. Issuing the SSL certificate also takes some extra time.

Can I use any domain? Yes, but it must be properly connected to your hosting and you need access to its DNS settings.

What should I do if the quiz doesn't open after 3 hours? Check that the A record is correct (IP: 185.25.117.21) and that the domain matches in AdsQuiz and at your hosting provider. If the problem persists, contact our support.
