Setting up the Kommo CRM integration in AdsQuiz
Kommo CRM – is a cloud CRM for sales management with a focus on messenger marketing and client communication. It lets you run sales pipelines, talk to clients across different channels in one window, automate routine tasks and track your sales team's performance. Kommo is especially popular with companies that actively use messengers and social networks to communicate with clients.
What the AdsQuiz and Kommo CRM integration gives you
Once the integration is connected, all quiz requests automatically go to the right Kommo CRM pipeline, together with:
- the lead's contact details – name, phone, email
- answers to all quiz questions – as a note on the lead or in separate custom CRM fields
- tags – you can automatically tag new leads for easy segmentation and filtering
- status – a new lead immediately gets the right status in the pipeline
Field mapping is also available – matching quiz questions to specific Kommo CRM fields. This lets you send answers not into a general note but straight into structured fields – for example, the answer to the «City» question automatically goes into the «City» field in the lead card.
⚙️ How to set up the Kommo CRM integration
Step 1. Open the integration settings
Go to: Quiz settings → Integrations → Kommo CRM.
To connect, you need to provide two parameters:
- Subdomain – the unique subdomain of your Kommo CRM account
- Long-lived Token – the access token for the API integration
⚠️ Important: after saving, all entered data is hidden automatically for security reasons.
Step 2. Find the Subdomain
Open your Kommo CRM account. The subdomain is the part of your account address before the main kommo.com domain. Copy only the subdomain name – without dots or slashes – and paste it into the field in the AdsQuiz integration settings.
Step 3. Get the Token
In Kommo CRM, go to Settings → Integrations → Add New Integration. Create a new integration and give it a clear name. After saving, open the access keys tab and click «Generate New Token».
When generating, you can set the token's validity period – the maximum is 5 years. After creating it, copy the token and paste it into the field in the AdsQuiz integration settings.
Step 4. Set up lead transfer parameters
After connecting the credentials, set up these parameters:
- Pipeline – choose the pipeline quiz requests will go to
- Status – if needed, set the status to be assigned to new leads
- Note with answers – turn on «Create a note with answers» if you want to see all quiz questions and answers in the lead card
- Tags – set up automatic tagging of new leads. For example, an «AdsQuiz» tag makes it easy to filter leads from quizzes
Step 5. Set up field mapping (if needed)
If you need to send quiz answers to separate CRM fields instead of a note, turn on «Use field mapping».
First create the custom fields you need in the Kommo CRM settings. Then set up the matching in the integration settings: in the first field choose the Kommo CRM custom field, in the second – the matching quiz question. The user's answer will be written into that field automatically.
Step 6. Save and check the integration
Click «Save». Make sure the integration shows the status Active.
🔍 How to check that the integration works
Method 1. A test request
Take the quiz and leave a test request. Go to Kommo CRM and check that a new lead has appeared with contact details, answers and tags.
Method 2. The «Test» button
In the integration settings, click «Test» – the system will resend one of the last 10 requests to the CRM without you having to take the quiz again.
💡 Important: test sends via the «Test» button don't use up your lead balance – use this feature to check and debug the integration without limits.
